Long term tasks

The Alliance for Economic Growth and Sustainability aims to take a long-term view of the main problems facing humanity, rather than a short-term pseudo-solution. We believe and affirm that all people are equal and that our core values are the same, wherever we come from in the world. One such common value is that we all want to protect our own environment. We believe that natural sustainability can only be achieved through social sustainability /common good. To this end, our association aims to do for:

1. Municipalities

Social equality is decided locally, where we live. When everyone's voice, opinions and interests count in local affairs, society as a whole is built accordingly.

AEDS wants to help local communities make their residents happier and live longer. To do this, we've developed our Blue Zone model, which assesses what each local municipality is doing from this perspective, and advises them on what and how they need to change to help their residents live healthier, more meaningful and balanced lives.

We want to create a global network of AEDS Blue Zone municipalities. Such a network will provide an opportunity for local authorities to learn from each other's good practice and to learn from each other.

We also want to help local authorities to make their investments in the most modern and least environmentally damaging way.

2. Companies

We want to help companies developing cutting-edge technologies find markets. We want to help develop new technologies, whether for existing companies or start-ups.

We want to help businesses to develop and invest in projects that meet the requirements of sustainability.

We want to help businesses that want long-term results and therefore care about the environment, value their employees and have good relationships with customers and suppliers. For them we have developed our White Zone model, which measures the contribution of companies to the public good. Companies that join our programme are audited from time to time and receive a certificate to use our distinctive logo on their products. This way, their customers and business partners would know that they are dealing with a trustworthy company that cares about its social and natural environment.

3. Non-profit organizations

Associations that are working to preserve the values of their natural and social environment can count on our support. It is our duty to help them in this endeavour. That's why we want to support charitable programmes, but also the causes of associations that want to do something for the development of their communities and for the protection of the environment. They are also welcome to join us.

4. Individuals

And of course we would like individuals to join us. People who want to take practical action to make things better in the world. We welcome anyone who wants to help us with their theoretical or practical work.
